Kingdom Ridge Capital, LLC is an alternative investment management organization that was founded in October 2007 and commenced operations April 1, 2008.  Kingdom Ridge runs a long/short strategy with a focus on public equities in the technology sector. The firm is classified as an SEC-registered investment advisor and serves investors such as endowments, family offices, fund of funds, pension funds and other qualified investors.

Kingdom Ridge Capital was founded and is 100% owned by Chris Zepf and Brian Thonn. The principals believe that a stable group of experienced research analysts is a key requirement for successful fundamental stock picking.  Therefore, the firm was created to be an “analyst friendly” environment that attempts to maximize the amount of time spent on intrinsically rewarding activities that really matter to the P&L. As a result, Kingdom Ridge Capital has assembled a highly accomplished research team that is a fit for how we manage money. On average, each research analyst has over 14 years of investment-related experience and we have experienced zero analyst turnover since the firm’s inception.
